KEITH HILL, Chairman

Currently President and CEO of Africa Oil Corp and Chairman of BlackPearl Resources Ltd. and ShaMaran Petroleum Corp.; formerly the President and Chief Executive Officer of Pearl Exploration and Production Ltd. (now BlackPearl Resources Ltd.), Valkryies Petroleum Corp. and Bayou Bend Petroleum (now ShaMaran Petroleum Corp.); various senior management positions with Lundin Oil AB, Occidental Petroleum Corporation and Shell Oil Company. Mr. Hill holds a B.S. in Geophysics and an M.S. in Geology from Michigan State University, as well as an MBA in International Business from St. Thomas University, Houston, Texas.

READ B. TAYLOR, President & CEO

Read Taylor has held management positions in the Oil Industry for over 28 years. Read recently served as General Manager and President of Devon Energy Brazil Ltd. (NYSE:DVN; Market Cap USD $38.79 B) where he was responsible for the discovery of the 200Mbbl Polvo Field in the Campos Basin. Prior to his work in Brazil, Read served with UNOCAL and Anadarko. His experience includes interpretation in geophysics and geology for exploration and development, gas marketing and business development. Read has a B.Sc. in International Business from Pepperdine University, a B.Sc. in Geophysics and M.Sc. (Masters) degree in Geology from University of Southern California, USC.

DARREN DEVINE, Vice President - Corporate Secretary & Director

Darren Devine is the President of Chelmer Consulting Corp. a Canadian a corporate financing advisory group specializing in structuring, financing and listing of companies in the energy sector. Previously, Mr. Devine was a securities and M&A lawyer qualified in Canada and the UK. In addition currently he is also an Advisor, director and/or senior officer of numerous private and publicly listed companies in the energy sectors. Darren received a BSc Hons from the University of Newcastle and Royal College of York - LLB (Dist) in England.

IAN BARON, Director

With 30+ years experience in the upstream oil business, Ian is currently Interim Chief Executive of Cadogan Petroleum plc, (UK) and a founding partner in ESG Dubai, providing management advisory services with projects in Kazakhstan, Russia, Iran, Syria, Philippines, Azerbaijan, Kuwait, and Turkey. Prior to this Mr. Baron was CEO of Dragon Oil plc (LSE: DGO) with production operations in Turkmenistan. He also spent 12 years with Conoco Inc. where he was vice president and general manager in the Middle East based in Dubai, UAE and was a Middle East expert for Conoco in Houston, Texas, USA. He has an BSc in Geology from University of Manchester in England and is a member of the UK Institute of Directors, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the London Geological Society.

IAN GIBBS, Director

Ian Gibbs is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the University of Calgary where he obtained a bachelor of commerce degree. Ian Gibbs has held a variety of prominent positions within the Lundin Group of Companies; most recently as CFO of Tanganyika Oil where he played a pivotal role in the recent $2 billion acquisition by Sinopec International Petroleum. Prior to Tanganyika Oil, Mr. Gibbs was CFO of Valkyries Petroleum which was the subject of an $800 million takeover.

GORDON KEEP, Director

Gordon Keep has extensive business experience in investment banking and creating public natural resource companies. Currently Executive Vice-President of Fiore Financial Corporation, a private boutique merchant banking firm.  He also serves as an officer and/or director for several natural resource companies.  From January 2001 to July 2007, Mr. Keep was Managing Director of Corporate Finance at Endeavour Financial Corporation, September 1997 until March 2004, he was Senior Vice President and a director of Lions Gate Entertainment Corp., and from April 1987 until October 1997, he was Vice President, Corporate Finance in the Natural Resource group of Yorkton Securities Inc.
